Initial Consultation

A successful landscape design starts with a conversation.  We take the time to get to know you and your vision for your landscape. During the meeting, we'll get to know you and your outdoor space while learning about your vision, preferences, and budget. We'll brainstorm ideas and share suggestions with you to truly understand your unique situation.  Be sure to bring any inspiration images or documents such as plot plans or architectural drawings that can help us better understand your property and vision.

Design Agreement

Our design agreement is written in plain language and is intended to prevent misunderstandings and ensure that the project is completed to everyone's satisfaction. We don't like surprises and neither do you.  We'll clearly define things like timeframe, payment terms, and what's included with the final design package to keep everyone on the same page.

3

Site Analysis

By becoming familiar with the characteristics of your space, we can tailor the design to fit your unique site. We consider factors such as existing plants, sun exposure, wildlife activity, and utilities to define the limitations of the design.  Precise measurements and reference photos help us to understand the characteristics of the site and inform our design decisions.  By taking the time to conduct a thorough site analysis, we can create a design that takes into account the specific needs and challenges of your property.

4

Conceptual Design & Presentation

After conducting a site analysis, your designer will create a conceptual plan that provides a general direction for the design. The designer may call out things like patio placement, garden beds, and materials suggestions. This preliminary plan is left intentionally vague to allow flexibility of design changes based on your feedback.  This collaborative process helps to ensure that the final plan meets your needs and exceeds your expectations.

5

Revision & Final Plan

The final design package is the culmination of the design process.  The final design package includes a set of detailed digital drawings that provide a clear visual representation of the final design as well as a slideshow that highlights the unique features of the design.  These scaled drawings will include specific callouts for plants and materials.  With the final drawings in hand, you can confidently submit them for HOA approval and provide them to your landscape contractor of choice for bidding.
